So, Brian Holdsworth wasn’t confident enough in his ignorant view of the magisterium to accept my invitation to come on my show for a discussion where I would correct his misunderstandings about the magisterium and answer all of his objections. At first I offered him a private zoom call so he could save face and when he ignored that I offered him an invitation to my show. Instead, he ignored my invitation and returned today to the same comment thread after two weeks of silence just to respond to someone else and perpetuate his ignorance even further with new claims that aren’t accurate. It is quite embarrassing how us Catholics can be so unaware of our ignorance concerning the faith. This time, I passed on inviting him on my show again and offered him free access to my course on the magisterium with the university (as the course already corrects all of his mistakes). I don’t suspect he will take me up on the offer.

I really have to stress that some Catholic with a platform need to avoid commenting on church politics or catechetical matters because their misinformation can mislead many people.
