When I initially had Luigi (an Orthodox catechumen) on to debate the papacy with Alex I thought he would be reasonable. But then I listened to his arguments in the debate and was disappointed. However, this is a new level of low resolution thinking on a scale I haven't seen before.
Quoting something doesn't make it authoritative. St. Paul quoted pagans in Acts 17 and Jude quoted the Book of Enoch in Jude but Orthodox wouldn't say paganism or the Book of Enoch are now authoritative. This is just dumb reasoning from a bad faith perspective and proves that when you have a hatred for the Church it makes you intellectually challenged.

In this video and others, he makes many factually untrue claims about me - but I expect that much when he falsely accuses his own pope.
